Port Elizabeth was the chosen city for the second Ignite Fitness club in South Africa, and we were chosen to take on this project.

There were a number of special requirements such as an electrical installation with the imaginative use of numerous LED lights as well as DMX controlled LED PARCAN THEATRE lights to create a “stage” atmosphere and an HVAC installation incorporating three VRV systems to provide individual temperature control to each area of the gym while simultaneously providing full heat recovery functionality for heating of the domestic hot water to the gym showers. This was the first full VRV hot water heating VRV system in Port Elizabeth.

Work and services handled by Clinkscales Maughan-Brown included: LV electrical installation, fire detection, HVAC, fire protection, IT network installation, domestic hot water, and smoke extraction.
